This is one of the good places for trekking in Nepal with rich Tamang culture. Many years ago, Nepal had fought with Tibet for the purpose of salt and also for the some of the biggest areas, this war took place is in the Langtang Region of Nepal where lies the third most popular trekking trail in Nepal.
This trekking destination is just a day long bus journey from the capital, Kathmandu. This trekking tour provides varieties of experience, Tamang rituals, Tibetan culture, festivals, traditional architecture, costumes, local Syabru dances make the exposure to this culture very unique. You will also find a view point at Goljung Pass, from where views of Langtang and Kerung (Tibet) can be awe inspiring. Visitors will get an opportunity to observe the view of Syabru, Mane and other local dances at Goljung and Gatlang VDCs. The villages also sell exclusive handicraft items like traditional caps, mufflers, and other items. Tourists can enjoy a hot bath in the healing hot-water spring at Tatopani before reaching Nagthali, where the stay is a unique experience. You will also have a wonderful experience of ancient monasteries and houses adorned with rich wood engravings at Thuman. At Briddim one gets to experience the famous Tamang hospitality where there is home stay facility in 24 houses.
Langtang is a narrow valley situated 75 km north of Kathmandu close to the Tibetan border. Just a couple of days walking finds you amongst beautiful snow peaks of the Ganesh and Langtang ranges. Following the Langtang Khola (river) will take you to the settlement of Kyanjin Gompa at 3900m. This is the furthest place to find lodges up the valley.
One of the best options is continuing trekking to Gosainkunda the holy lake where thousands of pilgrims visit to take holy bath. This lake is, in fact, beautifully surrounded by peaks. The water fall from the lake to the lake will make your trek more interesting amazing.

Day 1: land at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu
The first day of the trip will commence from Kathmandu, Kathmandu International Airport where our representatives will be present to welcome and pick you up. The attendant will take you to the hotel, provide your bearings.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley visiting the attractions
Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley mainly World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO, The Kathmandu Durbar Square, The Kumari Mandir-temple of living goddess, Swyambhunath Temple, and the Bouddhanath Stupa, The Pashupatinath Temple will be our schedule for this day.
Day 3: Drive to Syabru Bensi (1462m/4795ft) interval: 7 hrs
We will stop at Syabru from our Capital drive.On our drive; we will be accommodated by scenic foothills and ridgeline view to Syabru Bensi fleeting in the course of Dhunche. The River Bank of Trishuli passes all the way with Ganesh Himal magnificent, Terrace farmlands, green hills blanket in bright green forests.b
Day 4: Syabru Bensi- Gatlang (2238m/7340ft) 5 hrs
We will observe different traditional village on our way. Goljung and Gatlang cultural show will bind us to unforgettable memory. We will visit Tamang monastery and the beautiful Parvathi Lake at Gatlang.
Day 5: Gatlang – Tatopani (2607m/8550ft) interval: 5-6 hrs
On our way, we will take pleasure in sightseeing of the Langtang range and of the Ganesh Himal. The Tatopani(hot water) will revive you from spasm and exhaustion. We will get to know Tamang culture. Thuman is also another cultural village popular for its Shamanic presentation. Nagthali, a well-known meditation center for the local monks and priest has access to The glorious view of Langtang, Kerung, Ganesh Himal and the Sanjen range distinctly.
Day 6: Thuman -Timur (1762m/5780ft) interval: 5 hrs
Timur is an old route via Tibet. This fort is a memento for over the century’s relation between Nepal Tibet
Day 7: Timur –Briddim (2337m/7665ft) interval: 6 hrs
Briddhim is the Tibetan Buddhist village at the breast of Langtang Himal. Houses here are of z shape made with stones and roof of a split lineup. We will interact with the native about the culture, traditions and make ourselves familiar with their culture, tradition, and customs.
Day 8: Briddim – Syabru Bensi (1467m/4795ft) Duration: 5-6 hrs
We will descend through villages, terrace farmlands with unbeatable views of surrounded hills.
Day 9: Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu
We will take a scenic drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 10: Farewell
The airport Attendant will transport you to Kathmandu International Airport roughly 3 hours ahead of your planned flight. You will then head off from Nepal with the most amusing memories and stories to elaborate in your moments.
