Day 1: Kathmandu– Lhasa
Departure from Tribhuban Airport to Tibet Gongaar airport. After reaching Tibet airport Drive to Lhasa which takes about one hour and rests at a Hotel.
Day 2 and 3: full sightseeing tour In Lhasa
Day two and three is the full day of visiting the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar, Drepung Monastery, and Sera Monastery.
Day 4: Lhasa – Gyantse to Shigatse
Drive to Gyantse thru Lake and high passes: Kora LA (5,010m) & Kamba La (4,794m)
Exploration of Gyantse including Pholkor & Kumbum Monastery. After the exploration of Gyantse, we drive through Tibetan countryside to Xigatse.
Day 5: Shigatse to Everest Base Camp
Drive from Shigatse to Everest Base Camp (EBC), you will pass two high mountain passes – Gyatsola (5,200 m) and Pangla Pass (5,250m). On the way, you have the chance to admire the fascinating view of Himalaya peaks that includes Mt. Makalu (8,463m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m) and Mt. Shishapangama (8,020m)
Enjoy pleasing sunset at EBC. Most of the visitors admit that the sunset over the Everest is more fascinating than the sunrise, but since one can only go to EBC once per ticket, the group can choose to view either sunset or sunrise. It takes around 2 hours to hike to the Everest Bas Camp from the guesthouse.
Day 6: Explore Everest Base Camp (EBC) and back to Shigatse
For the magnificent early morning view of EBC sunrise view over Everest wake up early in the morning to witness it. Then drive back to Shigatse thru the route that we used previously.
Day 7: Shigatse to Lhasa
After taking the breakfast you will explore the culturally and religiously well-regarded Tashilunpo Monastery in Shigatse. The monastery is one of the six prominent yellow hat sect monasteries and is the holy seat of the Panchen Lama Lineage. There you can witness the splendid view of the entire monastery along with Jamba Buddha Statue from the entrance point.
Day 8: Depart from Lhasa
